First of all, you will need to be an International Day Trading Academy member who has completed or is currently taking our essentials training.

This service is designed for those who aren’t quite achieving their trading goals and need assistance in identifying weaknesses and working on them.

Yes, you do need to be a current student as the coaching is explicitly based on the International Day Trading Academy’s trading strategy.

We match you to a trading coach who specialises in trading with the same strategy as yourself, and is available during the same time slot chosen.

As we formulated this day trading mentoring program, we have understood that every trader has their own schedule and inclination towards certain market strategies. That’s why we make it a priority to match you with selected IDTA mentors and coaches who can not only cater to your goals, but also help achieve them.

Your coaching sessions are held typically outside live trading times as your trading coaches are most likely trading their favorite sessions. This being said, your trading coaches are available online and these coaches can be accessed from any time zone in the world.

All coaching sessions are delivered online and follow a strict and structured format. Your trading coaches will be looking for proof that you are trading in the form of chart screenshots so that they can critique you on your interaction with the market use of the IDTA trading strategies.

If you are unable to make a scheduled coaching session, please provide as much notice to IDTA and your trading coach as possible. Your session will be rescheduled to a more convenient time.

Depending on the coaching program that you choose, there will be a schedule that you will need to stick to. That being said, one of the key goals of any coaching program is to hold you accountable to your performance and your interaction with the market over a sustained period. The longer you are prepared to be coached for, the higher the chance you have of being successful as a trader.

Each individual trader requires a different amount of coaching in order to recognize their favorite signal set and then learn how to take advantage of it in a consistent manner. Based on previous case studies, we suggest that a six-session coaching program over 12 weeks that falls in alignment with the 12-week Competency Cycle is a great place to start. Obviously, each trader will have individual needs. It is clearly the intent of the trading coach to make sure that those needs are met.
