To date, I have travelled to at least 40 countries around the world. My goal is to travel to as many more as I can over the next few years.
As I approached retirement I was actively looking for ways that would allow me to travel, maintain my current lifestyle and leave a legacy to my children and grandchildren.
Quite by chance I was at a workshop where I was introduced to futures trading. I knew immediately that this was the way to go. I particularly liked the fact that when trading futures, there is no broker involved, I liked the fact that you could make money even if the market goes down and most importantly there was a mechanical way to limit my losses and manage my risk.
What attracted me most was all I needed was a laptop, an Internet connection and a proven strategy and I could work from anywhere in the world. This sounded ideal.
IDTA has provided me with all the education I need to succeed as a Futures Trader, ongoing support and a wonderful community of fellow traders.
I had never traded on the Stock Market or in fact been interested in financial markets so this was a steep learning curve for me. But I knew that this was what I was meant to do. So I just did what I had to do in order to move forward.
I am a testament to the fact that when one door closes another opens. My retirement is exciting. I’m learning new things, have new opportunities, and I’m meeting likeminded people.
